Great Circles is a Philadelphia record store and internet radio station that hosts some of the most in demand vinyl DJ's in the city. In 2021 they added a video component to their radio stream, and asked us to create a package of video loops and interstitial bumpers to throw over their camera feeds.
Our creative goal was to visually collapse the decades between 1969 and 1998, and create a world where the noisey video style of MTV coexists with the cool warmth of 1970's vinyl. Most assets were either printed to VHS tape and re-digitized, compressed to file sizes closer resembling that of the 1990's and re-sized, or converted to an analog signal and recaptured
